Baby Einstein?

Creators of the Baby Einstein videos are pure marketing geniuses!  You see Einstein in the title and you automatically think that this is going to help your baby excel!  This is the assumption most parents make, but studies show that this is nothing more than another way to baby sit your kids while you work around the house or get some personal time.   In fact, studies show that these videos will stunt your childs development! Uh Oh!  I’m sure most parents don’t think that these learning videos/toys are going to make their child smarter, but it’s nice to think it though right?  As we all know, the best thing you can do is converse with your toddler and read to them as much as possible.  Take them around the house and outside and show them how things work and explain it to them. 

 Now don’t get me wrong, these videos have their place.  When you need to get dinner ready or just be able to sit down and relax, they are great, but they will NEVER replace you as their teacher.
