The search for the perfect camcorder…decisions, decisions
May 2, 2008 – 1:54 pmLike me, I’m sure all of you want to capture those precious moments of your children. I have been doing a lot of research lately on camcorders and I have decideed that I want a camcorder that uses just flash memory.
The reasons I decideded on flash memory instead of tapes, discs, or hard drives are…
- Tape drives are the thing of the past and the tape drive of my mini dv camcorder is malfunctioning.
- Transferring video from tape/dvd is a HUGE hassle
- I don’t have to worry about the hard drive crashing
- Camcorders that use only flash memory are much smaller which means I’ll actually carry it around!
After much much much research, I have narrowed it down to 4 camcorders. All the cameras I list have image stabilization which is a must. I’ll list the pros and cons of each with the lowest price I have found for each camera.

I recently had trouble getting my daughter to brush her teeth for more than 10 seconds. She would just barely have the tooth brush in her mouth before she took it out and was done, but I have found a trick! Making things your toddler don’t really like to do into a game is the answer. When she starts brushing her teeth now, we play this game to see how long she can brush her teeth making her want to beat the record every time she does it now. You have to show some excitement when counting to get them excited. We started at 30 seconds and now we are over a minute which is just awesome. Give it a try and I hope it works out for you as well. Let me know if any of you have any other ideas that work.

Earth Day 2008

It’s Earth Day today, but it’s sad that we only dedicate one day to “try” and save the earth. We all need to do our part to keep our planet healthy every single day that we are here. We are creating a terrible enviroment for our children and if we don’t start doing something now, it’s going to be way too hot for our kids to play outside.
Make sure everyone goes out and vote and vote for politicians who are earth friendly and actually care about the well being of the United State citizens.
